Why use Adobe Illustrator?

Faculty can use Adobe Illustrator to create logos, icons, badges, and other graphics that can be scaleable to any size. Using vector-type images (for example .eps) you are able to customize and personalize images however you like. You can use these graphics in slideshows, assignments, in Moodle, and more.

Purchase & Installation

Adobe Illustrator is part of the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes other programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.

The Adobe Creative Suite (version CS6) is currently installed on one of the Hub Studio Loaner Laptops.
The Adobe Creative Suite is also available on any of the four Hub Windows desktop PCs (CS6), and the Hub iMac (CC 2018) found in the Hub lounge.
To install this software on your Cambrian-issued computer, you will require a license to be purchased and the program installed. Your department will need to initiate the purchase process with IT Help Desk.
