Upgrading your Moodle Skills Part 8: Creating an Interactive Lesson within Moodle

Are you craving more Moodle? This 10 part workshop series is for you!
In this 10 part series you will be guided through various advanced Moodle functions and how to apply them to your current and future course(s). Laptops will be set up so that you can work within your Moodle course and apply your new skills today! Each topic will be offered four times throughout the week, so if you miss the first one you can catch the next one. Not interested in one of the topics? Skip that week and only attend the sessions that you are interested in.
Interactive Lessons- The lesson activity module enables a teacher to deliver content and/or practice activities in interesting and flexible ways. A teacher can use the lesson to create a linear set of content pages or instructional activities that offer a variety of paths or options for the learner. In either case, teachers can choose to increase engagement and ensure understanding by including a variety of questions, such as multiple choice, matching and short answer. Depending on the student’s choice of answer and how the teacher develops the lesson, students may progress to the next page, be taken back to a previous page or redirected down a different path entirely.
