Teaching International Students – Episode 3: Stereotypes and Generalizations

Description:

Is it true that Indian students don’t have textbooks? That English is hardest for Chinese students? Or that Brazilians don’t have any concept of personal space? We hear a lot of truths, half-truths, and outright lies about how things work in other countries. In this session, we’ll review a bunch of useful (and some trivial) facts about the countries, cultures, and languages of our International Students.
