Things to Implement in Class that Take 10 Minutes or Less of Preparation

Based on James Lang’s book, Small Teachings, this session will highlight small changes that you can do to increase student knowledge, understanding, and motivation in 10 minutes or less.

This session invites participants to:

• reflect on their current teaching practice
• discuss the “small teachings” that faculty are already doing
• create a plan for the “small teachings” that can be implemented in the remainder of the semester
