This myth-busting session will address common questions related to Open Education, such as:

• Why would anybody create something just to give it away for free?
• Are open educational resources of the same quality as commercial textbooks?
• Will OER eliminate faculty jobs?

This informal Q&A session will address your questions head-on, without Pollyanna thinking or agenda-pushing.
