Math in Moodle

In this session, you will learn how to use math equations within Moodle for summative or formative evaluation.

Participants will be able to build a mathematics quiz in Moodle. Course participants will be able to access the question bank to create an embedded answers (aka Cloze) type question. They will learn how to access and read help associated with the creation of these questions. The three types of Cloze questions include “SA, or Short Answers”, “NM, or Numerical Answers”, “MCS, or Multiple Choice”, and their subcategories. Participants will also learn how to control the mark assigned for each question and insert an image in the question. They will also learn how to edit, duplicate, and preview a question.
