DESCRIPTION:The Educational Technology Committee is again offering a Virtual Lunch & Learn series this winter.  Grab your lunch and log on to start learning! \n  \nMar 19 @ 12:00pm: Explain It Like I’m Five \nClick here to Register \n\nParticipants will learn how to apply the “Explain it Like I’m Five” strategy to help students further their understanding of complex concepts learnt throughout a course. This interactive teaching method gives learners the opportunity to synthesize concepts using simple language and drawings. This activity is impactful as it is diverse in nature\, so it can be applied to a variety of different courses and class settings. This workshop will provide all the necessary details to help participants understand and effectively integrate this technique in their classrooms and creatively use different technologies for activities that are traditionally done using only pen and paper.
