Full-time Faculty: Orientation Week

Monday August 13th to Friday August 17th, 2018
9:00 am – 4:30 pm

We invite you to join us for new faculty orientation from August 13 – 17^th, 2018 in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Hub (room 1271). This orientation is designed to give new faculty the information and professional development they need to make a smooth transition to the College environment. Additional professional development can be accessed throughout the academic year in The Hub.

Orientation will address the following topics:

• Adult learning theory
• Course and lesson planning
• Creating inclusive classrooms
• Student-centered learning environments
• Orientation to Cambrian technologies and applications
• Moodle training
• 21^st Century Educators
• And so much more!
