SUMMARY:Beneficial for All; Essential for Some
DESCRIPTION:Description \nUniversal Design for Learning (UDL) is more than just a buzzword. It’s about ditching the myth of the “average learner” in favour of an approach that accommodates all sorts of individual learning differences before the semester even starts. Robert Montgomery\, full-time professor in the Child and Youth Care Practitioner Program\, has been studying the principles of Universal Design for Learning and would like to share his main takeaways with you. \nLearning Outcomes \nParticipants will be able to identify the three primary principles of UDL\, consider how collaborative partnerships can improve student learning experiences and outcomes\, consider how they already incorporate elements of the UDL framework into their teaching practice \nFacilitators: Robert Montgomery and Jessica O’Reilly \nShare this:
